Just before noon on September 30th, South Sioux City Police were notified of a shooting at the 200 block of E 16th St.
Several individuals were observed walking towards the residence before they began firing into the home. Two additional homes in the area were struck as well. No occupants were injured in the shooting. The suspects fled the area as occupants of the home chased them. A silver 2005 Acura that was also involved in the shooting wrecked as it fled the area. Occupants of that vehicle fired shots at the individuals chasing them. While no one was hit another home in the area was struck. Daniel Hilden,12/30/1987 and Francisco J Ceron,10/02/1993 were arrested in the area shortly after the shooting. After further investigation, David Hernandez, 07/21/1997, Alvaro Vite, 10/28/1996 and Miguel A Ceron, 06/12/1996 were later arrested leaving a residence on East 12th Street. A shooting also occurred at the same residence on Monday night. At this time there is no information about anyone involved in that shooting.

Daniel Hilden, 12/30/1987: Conspiracy to Commit Attempt to Commit Second Degree Assault and Conspiracy to Use of a Deadly Weapon to Commit a Felony. Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person. Francisco J Ceron, 10/02/1993: Conspiracy to Commit Attempt to Commit Second Degree Assault and Conspiracy to Use of a Deadly Weapon to Commit a Felony. Miguel A Ceron, 06/12/1996: Conspiracy to Commit Attempt to Commit Second Degree Assault, Conspiracy to Use of a Deadly Weapon to Commit a Felony and Aiding and Abetting Attempt to Commit Assault 2nd Degree. Alvaro Vite,10/28/1996: Conspiracy to Commit Attempt to Commit Second Degree Assault, Conspiracy to Use of a Deadly Weapon to Commit a Felony and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
