About 4:30 am Friday morning Sioux City Police were called to the 3300 block of 4th ave for reports of a dog being shot and killed in a residence.
On the way to the incident police located what was believed to be the suspect vehicle and followed it to South Sioux City Nebraska to the 2500 block of B Street. The victim says that two people were arrested on charges in South Sioux and another was not located. Charges in Iowa have not yet been filed.
According to the victim. The suspects were at their home when a dispute happened that lead to the dog being shot and killed. They report that two separate guns were used and that police were able to locate evidence at the scene and in the vehicle linked to the shooting.
Louie who turned 6 months old on the day he was killed was a friendly dog who had never shown aggression to anyone.
