A release from Sioux City Police is a reminder why victims should report all crimes to the police no matter how little they may seem. Police can find trends and link crimes only once they have been reported.
The release says that over the past month a large number of criminal mischief reports have been received in the downtown and near north side. These reports include broken windows.
Police are asking those affected by vandalism to review security footage if available and report it to the Sioux City Police Department if you haven’t already.
The cases are still being investigated but police say they have arrested Carl Duane Mohr, 43 who they believe to be linked to these cases. He's being held at the Woodbury County Jail on $5000 Bond. No other information is being released at this time.
