Police say a suspect is in custody in another jurisdiction with charges pending related to incidents at Morningside College on 3/1/17 and 2/12/17 and another incident at Comfort Inn on 2/12/17 in Sioux City.

According to a release from Sioux City Police, several law enforcement agencies assisted in identifying a suspect, which evidence located links them to the crimes.

On February 12th, 2017 police responded to Morningside Colledge after reports that a female had been assaulted by a male in a hoody with his face covered. A short time later police responded to Comfort Inn on Lakeport for another incident with the same suspect description.

On March 1st, 2017 a suspect was spotted in a dorm at Morningside college bathroom trying to observe females in the shower.

The release says that a suspect, who isn't named is in custody in another jurisdiction and that the case is still ongoing and future charges will be sent to the county attorney.
