Sioux City Police recognized a driver of a Motorcycle about Twenty after 1:00AM on Tuesday as a possible suspect. The officer followed the motorcycle in order to verify and was able to catch up with it near China Buffet on Gordon Drive.  The driver then took off, police chose to not pursue because of the motorcycle but continued to follow. The driver jumped off the motorcycle and took off on foot.

Police were able to catch the driver, Josh VanWaart, 33 who was arrested and booked into the Woodbury County Jail on charges of Eluding, Violation of a No Contact Order, Possession of Drugs, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Suspended Drivers License, and No Vehicle Insurance. He's being held on $3200 Bond with his next court appearance scheduled for August 19th, 2016
