Woodbury Sheriff attempted to stop a motorcycle near Smithland about 1:00am on Wednesday that was believed to be stolen. The driver took off, deputies pursued the motorcycle. It was mentioned the driver may have thrown something. A few moments later scanner traffic indicated they had 1 in custody and an accident report would be taken and they were searching for what was thrown. Top speed called out during the pursuit was 50mph. The driver was reported to of hit his head but was communicating well, there was mention of medical being dispatched. Deputies arranged for the motorcycle to be picked up by a relative of the owner.
