About 3:40 pm on Wednesday Sioux City Police received a panic alarm from the Great Southern Bank at 329 Pierce St. Police responded to the scene and located and detained two men a couple of blocks away.
Police say one arrest has been made of 35-year-old Ronald G Edwards, charged with 1st Degree Robbery after he entered the bank, threatened the teller, and took an undisclosed amount of cash.
The investigation is ongoing.
