Police and emergency crews responded to West 14th and Hamilton Boulevard about 6:20 p.m. on Thursday, June 1st for reports of a vehicle versus motorcycle crash.

Sergeant Judy Kellen with Sioux City Police says the accident is under investigation. A motorcycle driven by a male was East on Wesley Parkway when a Chrysler 300 West was turning South onto Hamilton Boulevard turned in front of the motorcycle that crashed into the side of the vehicle.

The driver of the motorcycle was transported to Mercy Medical Center and his condition is not known. The intersection reamined closed while police investigated until after 9:00 p.m.
