Just before 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 9th 2 people were spotted taking plates off an Oldsmobile Alero at WalMart on Floyd Blvd. in Sioux City.
Concerned citizen(s) contacted police and provided information about the incident, description of the suspects and a description of the vehicle they left in.
The two were arrested and booked into the Woodbury County Jail by 6:00 p.m.
Christopher Edward Hirschauer, 37 has been charged with tampering with a motor vehicle, no driver's license, no vehicle insurance, theft 5th and operating without registration. He’s being held on $1500 Bond.
Amber Delores Randol, 29 has been charged with Theft 5th and tampering with a motor vehicle and has been released on $600 Bond.
