Police searched the school and area and the lockdown was lifted a short time later.

Police are currently searching the area of 11th and Grandview after reports of Man with Gun.

Someone witnessed a man wearing a black coat and black hat with a gun in the area of 11th and Grandview in Sioux City by the Heelan CYO Center about 10:50AM on Thursday. The school is currently on lockdown and police are searching the area.
