Names of the two arrested in connection with an overnight stabbing in Morningside have now been released by Sioux City Police Department. Michael Steward, 16 was arrested shortly after the incident and has been charged with WilllFul Injury. This afternoon police made an additional arrest, Trevor Peterson, 18 who is charged with attempted Murder.

According to a release from Sioux City Police, a Juvenile male whose name is not being released was arrested and charged with Willful Injury and the victim was transported to Mercy Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Shortly after 4:00AM Police and Rescue were called to the 1900 Block of Sherman Ave for reports that someone had been stabbed. The suspect left in a vehicle described as a Gold 4 Door truck that had a broken driver side Window.

Police were able to locate a vehicle with a broken driver window, blood, and a bandana in the front seat on the 1500 block of Rock Street. 

Police made an arrest, no other information is available at this time.
