Police were able to apprehend Bobby Joe Baer, 31 Wednesday morning after a short foot pursuit. A tip came in that a Subject with warrants from Omaha was in the area of 32nd and Pierce. Baer is currently in Woodbury County Jail on charges of Elude Simple, Carrying Weapon, Possession Drugs, Furnishing Controlled Substance Inmate, Hold For Nebraska

Warrants for Bobby Baer include Sex Offender Registry, in relation to a 2006 Conviction of sexually assaulting a 3-year-old, Unlawful/Fictitious Display of Plates, Liquor-Open Container, Drug Paraphernalia-Use or Possession.

Additionally, it was reported he was with another wanted female and they got to Sioux City driving a White Chevrolet Impala missing the front grille. It was unclear if police were able to locate the female.
