One hospitalized and another in jail after early Friday morning shooting in North Sioux

North Sioux City EMS responded to the area of the 100 block of Sodrac Drive in North Sioux City about 2:30 am Friday for reports of an injured party. Upon arrival they found a victim with a gunshot wound, the person was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

A short time later a suspect was located near the 100 block of S Derby Lane in North Sioux City who was arrested and transported to Union County Jail.

No information has been released from authorities and I've been unable to obtain much information, however, I'm told the two knew each other and were staying in the area.
