Suspect in Le Mars shooting robbery found dead in South Sioux City school parking lot

South Sioux City Police located the robbery/shooting suspect vehicle with an apparent self-inflicted lethal gunshot wound just after 8:00 am in the parking lot of Cardinal Elementary School in South Sioux City Nebraska.

The investigation is ongoing.

Just after 6:00 am Law Enforcement and EMS responded to 1201 12th Ave SW for two gunshot victims in what is being reported as an attempted robbery.

Both patients were transported by EMS to Floyd Valley Hospital, and then two MercyOne in Sioux City, one by ambulance and the other by Mercy Air Care. Both patients are reported to be in stable condition.

Police currently believe they know who the suspect is, the suspect remains at large.
