Onawa Police in a release say they responded to a 911 call about 5:30 am on Tuesday, May 1st on the 600 block of 6th Street involving serval people.
Police found that two males were suffering non-life-threatening stab injuries and were transported by EMS to Burgess Hospital. The suspect had fled the scene and has not yet been located. The investigation is ongoing.
They say the public is in no danger. The release says that information released to the staff of West Monona School resulted in the lockdown of the elementary school, though the students and Staff were never in any danger.
