A Dakota City resident posted to Facebook on Sunday afternoon January 28th that they found their dog Jaz dead on their front porch with a gunshot wound.

You're asked to contact the Dakota County Sheriff's Office with any information. The Siouxland Humane Society posted on Tuesday they were offering a $500 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible.
