Vandalism to and thefts from numerous vehicles in South Sioux reported Saturday

South Sioux CIty Police say that they received 8 reports of vehicles vandalized and 5 vehicles that had been rummaged through. A post on Facebook says they have seen an increase in reports of thefts from vehicles.

Police say the reports were scattered throughout the city and were reported on Saturday. They remind citizens to always lock their vehicles, that a majority vehicles that are rummaged through or have items stolen from are left unlocked. They ask that you report the incident and wait for an officer to arrive before going through your vehicle.
