WANTED Sex Offender missing after cutting ankle braclet

A felony warrant was issued for Danny L Barnes, 44 in Woodbury County on February 13, 2017. Barnes is under the supervision of Community Based Corrections in Woodbury County. Barnes is listed on the Iowa Sex Offender Registry. He’s described as a White Male, Age 44, Height 6’1” and Weighing 202lbs.

Court Records show that in August of 2014 Danny L Barnes was charged with Sexual Abuse in the 3rd Degree, in December of 2015 Barnes plead guilty to Assault with the Intent to commit Sexual Abuse and sentenced to 2 years in prison and a 10-year sentence for Sex Offenders.

According to Siouxland News, Marshals say he cut his anklet bracelet and ran.
