The Sioux City Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Bacon Creek General Store on Saturday night, January 25, around 9:53 PM.
Police say a light-skinned male suspect entered the store, showed a handgun, and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect then fled the scene on foot with an unknown amount of cash. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
Suspect description:
• Light-skinned male
• Approx. 5’10”, 150–180 lbs
• Wearing dark clothing
• Age unknown
Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at (712) 258-TIPS (8477). Tips can be made anonymously, and a reward may be available if the information leads to an arrest.
