Traffic Fatality on I-29 North Thursday evening 7/3/25 around 8:00 PM, a motorcyclist was killed in a single-vehicle accident at mile marker 149 on I-29 northbound. The 49-year-old Sioux City man was traveling at high speed when he lost control of his motorcycle and was thrown from the bike. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries. The incident remains under investigation by Sioux City Police and Fire/Rescue.
