No injuries after train strikes stalled school bus near Salix Wednesday

Woodbury County Deputies, Iowa State Patrol, and Sergeant Bluff Police responded to a crash near 275th and K-45 about 7:30 am Wednesday where a train had struck a school bus that stalled on the tracks.

The driver of the bus and its single occupant were able to exit the bus before the train struck the bus spinning it approximately 180 degrees.

No injuries were reported. The crash remains under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol
