Units responding to the scene found the single story home fully engulfed with flames visible through the roof. The occupant of the residence was not home, but one pet did perish as a result of the fire. The house is considered a total loss at this time. Two other homes adjacent to the structure on fire suffered heat damage to the siding. The fire remains under investigation.
