Man transported to hospital after police located him with aparent stab wounds

When Sioux City Police arrived on the scene in the 100 block of 14th Street at 8:43 pm Saturday evening they found a victim with multiple stab wounds to the abdomen as well as cuts that appeared to be defensive wounds.

The suspect was reported to have left the scene before police arrived. The victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The incident remains under investigation.
