The victim wasn't able to provide much detail over the phone, 911 mapping identified he was traveling south from the area of Valley Park Apartments. While police were attempting to locate him he showed up to MercyOne Emergency Department with a gunshot wound. Police remained on scene for a couple of hours speaking with witnesses and collecting evidence.
Police say after an argument with another individual he was running away from, he was shot and then he drove himself to the hospital. The incident remains under investigation.
