Sioux City Police say they were called to 1416 Rebecca Street in Sioux City at 3:58 pm on Sunday, June 30th for an unconscious child.
Police learned that a 16-month-old female child was left unattended in the car and later found unconscious. The child was transported to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. The incident remains under investigation.
