Scanner traffic indicated that a male entered the store and demanded money while displaying a handgun. The suspect is described as a possibly white male, 5’11†weighing 175 lbs, wearing a blue hat with eye holes cut out, black gloves and a brown jacket. The gun was described as a smaller black handgun.
The suspect fled the area on foot headed Northwest on Morningside Avenue.
Sioux City Police with the assistance of Woodbury County Sheriff and Iowa State Patrol setup a perimeter and searched the area.
