Police search for 3 people after armed robbery in Morningside

Police were called to the 4000 Block of Orleans Avenue in the Morningside neighborhood of Sioux City about 10:25 p.m. on Wednesday evening April, 19th for reports of an armed robbery.

Police were on scene for more than an hour but would not give comment on the incident or confirm a robbery.

Scanner traffic indicated that the victim was outside when approached by 3 males, 2 with guns who demanded the victim's money, phone and car keys before leaving on foot towards Waterbury Funeral Home and then towards McDonalds

Police setup a perimeter and K9’s were on scene searching the area.
