Arrest made in Shots Fired at Country Club Apartments

Sioux City Police arrested 30-year-old Brandon Smith just before 2:00PM on Saturday afternoon in connection with this shots fired call. Charges include carrying a concealed/dangerous weapon, reckless use of a firearm, discharging a firearm in city limits, public intoxication and, possession offensive weapon. Smith is currently being held in the Woodbury County Jail on $7900 bond. (edit to include additional charge)

Police responded to a call at Country Club Apartments located at 4201 Denice Court, Building C on Sioux City's North Side just after 1:00PM on Saturday to reports of shots fired. The reporting party heard the gunshot and saw a man with a firearm described as a handgun. Police searched the area and located Brandon Smith a short time later.
